​Sora Jeong is a Korean-American fine artist living and working in Northern New Jersey. Her artistic practice is built on a rigorous global foundation, beginning with the Preparatory Program at the Moscow Surikov State Academic Institute of Fine Arts, followed by a BFA from Alfred University and an MFA from Pratt Institute.

As a dedicated educator, Sora serves as an adjunct faculty member in Painting and Drawing at UCNJ (Union College) and continues to mentor students in her private studio.

 

Beyond her roles as a teaching artist and a mother of two, Sora remains committed to her core identity: making art. For her, the act of creating is a continuous and essential path and the most authentic way of being herself.
